Hailing from Burlington, Ontario (Canada) Hayley Verrall is a driven, passionate and eclectic artist on a quest to make a difference through her music.
In spite of her young age – or maybe because of it – Hayley understands the importance of music as more than simple entertainment: as a medium to inspire, share and tell stories that can relate to the audience in a unique way.
With influences as diverse as Country, Rock and Pop, Hayley is a versatile performer who blends her instinctive attitude for fresh melodies with a consistent background as a skilled classical pianist and singer.
Hayley won the Tottenham Bluegrass Festival Talent Competition (June 2013) and has also competed as a finalist within the Off the Streets Charity Talent Competition, as a semi-finalist in Brantford’s Got Talent, in the semi-final round of the Magna Hoedown Showdown Talent Competition, and as a semi-finalist in Western Fair’s Rise to Fame. In 2014 she won the Rise 2 Fame Peoples’ Choice Award.
Hayley has performed at various venues and events between London, ON and Sudbury, ON. In 2014 she had the distinct honour of singing O Canada at the inauguration of Burlington City Council and on July 1, 2015 she again had the honour of singing O Canada at the city’s Canada Day celebrations, both a cappella and with Symphony on the Bay.
