Nicole Robertson’s music is raw, honest, always real, as she says, “I don’t go for a trendy approach. What I do is blues!”
The influences for her music include Memphis Minnie, Blind Willie McTell, as well as Sam Cooke and many others. From early childhood Nicole knew music was her future. In addition to piano, she has mastered many instruments which included the guitar, drums, trumpet and fiddle.
Nicole’s engagements include opening for Jack De Keyzer, multiple appearances at the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival in addition to performing an original (Down by the River) with Larry Kurtz and the Lawbreakers on the Main stage.
She has performed throughout Caledon and Orangeville as well competing in Rising Stars at the CNE, and finished in the top 10 at the Rising Star competition at the Chin Picnic.
