Georgetown Children’s Chorus begins its 24th season with plans for another one hour Rock style Christmas musical (plus choral presentation) at the John Elliott Theatre on Dec. 13th, with two shows: 1 pm and 4 pm.
There are 19 speaking roles in this production with a huge chorus of Juniors singing and dancing along. All will be moving to the music and wearing costumes. Dale Wood is the Musical Director of the show, joined by Artistic Director Joanna Fraser.
The Loaned Manger is a fun and high–spirited (but ultimately meaningful) look at Christmas through the lens of the Wild West in the late 1800’s. It has plenty of amusing lines and a pumped up Rock sound … followed by Christmas songs and carols sung by 100 youth, ages 5-18. Show is suitable for ages 5 to 90.
