Hey Georgetown! Local Folk group Dayfoot are performing at the annual ALS walk on Saturday, June 6th from 10:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Come support the cause!
From ALS: The annual WALK for ALS is the largest fundraiser for the ALS societies across Canada. The WALKS are a platform to raise awareness with a unified vision: to support people living with ALS and invest in research to make ALS a treatable, not terminal disease. The WALK for ALS provides much needed funds to provide services to people living with ALS through home visits, support groups, education and a loan equipment program. With your support, 40% of the proceeds through the WALK for ALS go towards ALS research and 60% towards supporting people living with ALS in Ontario.
ALS is a terminal disease that has no treatment or cure. Please join us and help change the future of ALS.
