Come experience this signature culinary event and find out what Halton Region’s agricultural community has to offer.

Take the opportunity to tantalize your taste buds and sample unique dishes created by the award-winning chefs at Halton Region’s famous restaurants.

The chefs have been paired with local farmers who will provide signature ingredients fresh from the harvest.  Satisfy your thirst for knowledge of microbreweries with beverages from Halton’s craft breweries and famous fruit winery (non-alcoholic options also available). The event is fun for the whole family with kids admitted free.  Enjoy Live Music, a craft market, wagon rides, and speak directly to farmers to learn more about eating local.

Importance of Local Food

Halton Region is home to an active and vibrant farming industry. Our farming and agricultural community is a key piece of our economy with great potential for sustainable growth. We take great pride in local food and continue to work with Halton’s farmers to help support and grow our farming community.

Country Heritage Park
Guests of Harvest Halton will have access to Milton’s interactive heritage site which offers visitors the opportunity to discover the feel of  life over 180 years ago. Country Heritage Park includes actors dressing in period costumes, farm animals, an outstanding collection of antique tractors, steam engines and farm equipment, countless artifacts and over 30 historical buildings on 80 acres of rural land. This venue offers visitors a great view of the Niagara Escarpment and a unique vantage point of Halton Region’s fall colours.

Milton Steam-era
New this year, a member of Milton’s Steam-Era group will have a large Steam Traction Engine onsite steaming corn for purchase.

$25 at the gate, $22 in advance, food and drink sampling additional (prices vary).
