A bittersweet slice of gut-slammin’ Texas Rockin’ Blues with Twang!
The Tone Dogs will shuffle their way into your soul right from the opening chord. The band is dedicated to the authenticity of its sound. What makes them different is the clean vintage sound they grind out of gear that is older than most people who come out to see them. Even the bartenders and bouncers smile as if they have stumbled onto the hippest gig on the planet!
The Tonedogs are:
Alex Carter... Guitar, vocals, harmonica
Bob Milne….. Bass guitar, vocals
Joe Nufrio..… Drumkit
Get ready for a night of asphalt blues burners and good old Rock n Roll to keep your heart pumpin’ and your feet jumpin’ right till last call!
Failte originated from a casual collection of musicians in the autumn of 1991 in Waterloo. Failte (pronounced “fall-cha”) means welcome in Irish. Currently the group consists of original member, Stephen Todd (vocals, bodhran, and tin whistle) as well as Jessica Weiler (fiddle, vocals), and Brian Crozier (guitar, vocals).
The band plays traditional Celtic music with a Canadian attitude. Set lists include slow airs, ballads, jigs and reels from Ireland, Scotland and Canada.
