Each Thursday Night at 8 pm Al Robitaille and Domenic Bonaldo co-host “Open Mic” at The Bistro at Silvercreek. Performances are pre-scheduled, and drop-ins are welcome.

Broad selection of local musicians, excellent food and service, and a welcoming, classy vibe all make for a good night out. Arrive early for good eats and good seats.

Youth Open Mic in Acton at Roxy Coffee

open-micOpen Mic is a monthly event held the last Wednesday of each month at 7 pm by Roxy Youth at Roxy Coffee in Acton. Anyone can come and share their artistic talents! Whether that be in music, poetry, drama, or whatever, all are welcome to come, share, and hangout.Be a part of a fun community of art people! Georgetown Celtic Fiddle Orchestra Annual Spring Concert

The Georgetown Celtic Fiddle Orchestra presents their annual Spring concert on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s spring concert is a tribute to the Cape Breton music tradition. The group will perform a lively blend of jigs, reels, and a variety of other traditional Celtic tunes that you would likely hear in Cape Breton Island NS.  The opening act is the very first performance of the brand new Georgetown Youth String Orchestra.

The family friendly concert will be held at: St. Andrew’s United Church 89 Mountainview Rd S. (at Sinclair Avenue) Tickets are $10 for adults $5 for kids under 12 and are available in advance at the Academy of Music 905-877-2770 or at the door.
