You won’t want to miss the music and wit of Bill Craig.
Bill was born and raised in Ireland, and lived in London in 1973. He moved to Toronto in 1974. He first performed as a vocalist for various Rock ‘n Roll bands in Ireland in 1967.
In 1969, Bill began playing guitar on stage and has stayed with it as his main instrument ever since. Throughout this period, he maintained an interest in the music of his native Ireland, and would occasionally confuse, and usually please, rock audiences with a solo voice guitar rendition. Bill fills The Crook with a wide variety of sounds and a larger than life personality that works well in the room.
The St. George has The Beat Heathens, a band that has been playing together for nearly 15 years, the brainchild of former MuchMusic VJ Dan Gallagher and former Coney Hatch bass player Andy Curran. Among the original members of the band was guitarist Mike Montgomery.
Although Dan has passed away, Mike continues the band to this day. The result is a talented group that plays a wide variety of music that continues to win audiences over every night.
Veteran musicians capable of playing a huge variety of music from the sixties to the nineties and beyond.
A beautiful old church, lit only by candles. An atmosphere of reverence and peace and wonder. Scripture, chanted psalms, slow prayer, beautiful music from a solo musician. Nothing for you to say or do or read – only to enter and receive and experience. To simply BE in the presence of God.
