A beautiful old church, lit only by candles. An atmosphere of reverence and peace and wonder. Scripture, chanted psalms, slow prayer, beautiful music from a solo musician. Nothing for you to say or do or read – only to enter and receive and experience. To simply BE in the presence of God.
Sharon’s career has included adult and children’s community choirs, concert and jazz band rehearsals, preschool music programs, conference workshops, research presentations, and a successful private music studio. She also has considerable performance experience as a church musician, as a solo pianist, and as the pianist for The Champagne Trio.
Sharon holds an A. Mus. in piano performance from Conservatory Canada, an ARCT in piano pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music, a Master’s degree in Music Education from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music, and a Doctorate degree in Holistic Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She has a particular interest in Dalcroze Eurhythmics (learning music through movement), and serves as vice-president for Dalcroze Canada.
