Rick Spyder sings and plays an arsenal of musical instruments which includes guitar, violin, saxophone, and harmonica. He began his musical career very much the classical guitar prodigy at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, where he earned an A.R.C.T. music degree at seventeen. Rick feels at home in any style of music and has been noted for his truly unique style of “tap and bend” guitar.
In 2008, he joined The Eagles original tribute band “Hotel California“. Spyder performs as their lead guitarist and backup vocalist. Their sound pays homage to how the Eagles sounded in the ’70s.
With 30 years experience in touring the Rock and Country circuit in the U.S. and Canada, Rick’s incredible vocal skills and multi-instrumental gifts were a sure fit for the Hotel California sound. Rick’s cowboy hat and his down-home country charm are a hit with the lady-Eagles fans, and every new audience he meets quickly become his newest supporters.
Born and raised in Tanzania, Joseph Rebello started his music career at the tender age of 7 singing at local clubs and parties with the family band. At the age of 12 he taught himself bass guitar and the rest is history.
He began performing at hotels and bars and in 1978 Joseph’s big break came when his “The Revolution Band” were invited to the big city of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania‘s largest and richest city, the largest city in Eastern Africa by population, and Tanzania’s most prominent city in arts, fashion, media, music, film and television).
What a thrill for young Joseph to perform there at the Kilimanjaro Hotel for 8 straight years with the resident band at the hotel.
In 1987 he came to Canada, joined IBM as a Technical I-Series Specialist and carried on with his passion for music, only recently returning to music as his full time profession.
