Tim Alberts (True Music Productions) keyboardist, producer and recording engineer joins Uncorked mainstay Kev Morse for a special Wednesday night.
Tim Alberts has been making music for a long time. He started at the piano at age six and soon took an interest in composition. At the University of Western Ontario, Tim earned his Bachelor of music. While there, he studied electronic composition under composer David Myska. This was his first exposure to music production software.
After graduation, Tim moved to Toronto, began teaching and, in July of 2001, started True Music Productions. He’s since created music for various feature films, radio and television productions, as well as numerous documentaries and short films. He’s also produced CDs for various independent bands and songwriters – as well as a couple of his own.
Currently, Tim lives in Halton Hills with his wife Darlene, a teacher, and their two children: Maryn and Aidan.
Kev Morse writes from experience, sings from the heart and plays the guitar like it was meant for him to play. An evening spent listening to Kev play his guitar and sing his songs is like an evening spent with an old friend. His songs reach out, grab you, they hold on tight and they stay with you.
