Charles’s Dickens’ A Christmas Carol Dramatic Reading
7:00 p.m. at St. Alban’s Church. This was a magical experience last year as Thespian Father Aaron O’Rear gave a superb rendering of this Christmas classic. Freewill donation to support local outreach.
Join Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and the ultimate Christmas baddie, Ebenezer Scrooge, for an evening of music and a dramatic reading. The St. Alban’s Choir and local musicians will lead the music. St. Alban’s rector Fr. Aaron Orear, a professional stage actor before entering the priesthood, comes out of retirement to give life to Dickens’ cast of colourful characters.
To complete the festive mood, Christmas sweets and cider will be offered after the performance. Admission is free but donations to St. Alban’s outreach will be gladly received, in the spirit of the holidays, to support local charitable groups. Seating is on a first-come basis.
