The Georgetown Bach Chorale is pleased to introduce German violinist Annette-Barbara Vogel in the opening concert of the 2014 Season.
Vogel tours extensively in North America and abroad, having recently returned from concert performances in Romania and from producing recordings in Brazil. This performance will feature Brahms riveting Piano Quartet No. 1 in G Minor.
She will be joined by Romanian violist Florin Simioanica and Hungarian cellist Andras Weber supported by the very competent fingers of concert pianist Ron Greidanus. The performance will also include music of Rachmaninoff and Liszt.
Following the concert, attendees can enjoy wonderful food and beverage and have a chance to meet these great artists. A few tickets priced at $45 (advance) can be purchased at Pat’s Prime Cuts and Deli in Georgetown South or at Food Stuffs in Old Downtown.
