Leathertown Festival is Six Blocks of Entertainment

Acton Leathertown Festival on Sunday, Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Acton will take up six blocks along Mill Street.ltown This free festival, with the theme this year of ‘Explore the Magic’ is expected to be attended by more than 10,000 people.
With a tradition of fun family entertainment for all ages, this year’s festival will not be without what has been a mainstay from the earliest days of the Leathertown Festival: vendors selling their diverse wares.
New this year is the John St. Farmers’ Market.
Acton’s own Ryan Parker is emcee for the Opening Ceremonies on the Main Stage at noon with Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette and the Acton Citizens’ Band. From 12:45-2 p.m., The Kings perform, followed by The Jeffery Brothers, 2-3 p.m. Half Hour City takes the stage, 3-4 p.m. with Low Down Dirty Band capping the entertainment from 4-5 p.m.
